MAMA'S LITTLE BABIES

Mama's little baby

Daddy's little joy

Mama's little lady

Daddy's little boy

How could a couple kids who look so sweet

Give us so much pain and misery?

Just when you think they're being good as gold

You catch 'em playing in the toilet bowl

Mama's little lady

Daddy's little boy

They're a pair of angels when sitting in my lap

Later they take shoe polish and decorate the cat

Out in the backyard when I can't see

They plant the artificial Christmas tree

They get the chance when their mama dozes

To put some raisins up their noses

Mama's little lady

Daddy's little boy

We had mountains of diapers

They make acres of mess

They use billions of bandaids

We've got valleys of stress

They give us kisses and baby hugs

They go outside and eat some lady bugs

Mama's little baby

Daddy's little joy

We thought that parenthood would be sublime

But now we're only hoping we survive

Mama's little lady

Daddy's little boy

Mama's little baby

Daddy's little joy
